Begun, the Great Burrito Wars Have
I had a somewhat revolutionary meal this afternoon. For those who have known me for any length of time, you probably know that I have always been a die-hard Qdoba advocate in the Great Burrito Wars (the Chipotle vs. Qdoba vs. Moe’s Royal Rumble). There was a Qdoba next door to my workplace for the six years I spent in Winston-Salem. I didn’t have to speak when I walked in the door. My Chicken Queso Burrito with black beans, habanero salsa and cheese was waiting for me. Since moving to Charleston I have been distraught with the lack of a nearby franchise, which until this afternoon, I had been unable to locate.
So I compromised. There is a Moe’s next door to my new job. And Moe’s has 5-dollar Burrito meals on Mondays. And you know what? It’s fucking good. I have been fully content in my enjoyment of Moe’s as a solid substitute for my usual Qdoba.
Until today. I discovered a Qdoba in North Charleston and stopped for lunch.
And it sucked.
I’m officially a Moe’s kid now.

vinylsunday:

fleetfootedfox:

Vinyl Sunday:  The Wall of Baizleys
(with a couple Pusheads for good measure)
In frames, to the left:  Vitamin X (the gatefold is assembled backwards, relative to the mural, so I framed the poster), Insert from Baroness’ Red Album.
Top Row: 2 Pusheads (Kylesa + Queensryche), Sounds of the Underground CD/DVD, Deadbird’s Twilight Ritual, Skeletonwitch’s Worship the Witch, Accursed Dawn’s Manifest Damnation, Coliseum’s True Quiet/Last Wave, Army of Flying Robots/Kamikaze split, Blacktusk/Fight Amp split, Blacktusk/The Holy Mountain split
2nd Row: Baroness Second EP, A Grey Sigh in a Flower Husk (Baroness/Unpersons split), Baroness’ Red Album, Darkest Hour’s Deliver Us, Pig Destroyer’s Phantom Limb, Skeletonwitch’s Beyond the Permafrost.
3rd Row: Rwake’s Hell is a Door to the Sun, Berkeley Guitar, Torche’s In Return.
Bottom Row: Cursed’s III, Kylesa’s Static Tensions, Magrudergrind/Shitstorm split, Blacktusk’s Passage Through Purgatory, Baroness’ First EP, Flight of the Conchords’ I Told You I was Freaky.

I don’t reblog things from the internets, but I am fucking jealous of this.
